Our market until now has followed a typical pattern of being extremely busy in the months running up to Christmas, followed by a quieter time with interest building again as we approach Spring.

This year the CMA intents to start the season hard with its ‘Spring into Spring’ campaign.

We would like to offer you:

  1. Free booth rental for the month of April 2023 for vendors that are approved. (must come for whole month)
  2. A 50% discount on booth rental if you continue your rental throughout May 2023
  3. After which, you may renew your CMA membership (cost $50) which will entitle you to 10% discount on all further booth rentals for the remainder of 2023.
  4. This membership awards you the status of ‘preferred vendor’ which means that if you are one of several vendor applications with a similar product range, yours will be the preferred application.

The Centennial Market is a weekend market (Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday noon to 4pm) with ample parking and a steady flow of customers visiting us and the other major stores in the Mall.

Our market is fully secure during the week so your product can be safely left in your booth – so no ‘knock down’ and ‘set up’ worries.

* Conditions on this deal apply

But what’s happening in April?

We have plenty of events happening in April, from a Hitch and Ditch mock marriage ceremony on April 1st, an Easter Egg hunt, and a GIANT Earth Day celebration sponsored by Sasktel! There will be ample advertising and traffic flow throughout the month!

Buskers Wanted

The Centennial Market is inviting buskers to apply and if selected perform at the market throughout the year. Centennial Market is a unique shopping experience in the heart of the Warehouse District. It is not only Regina’s largest indoor market, but also the largest in Saskatchewan.

The Centennial Market board of directors is looking for buskers whose music would be complementary to an indoor market. Specifically, we are looking for musicians and entertainers with acoustic, easy-listening music. The music should be able to be a background sound for customers to enjoy while still maintaining the ability for clear communication with vendors.

Scarecrow Contest

The Centennial Market Scarecrow Contest:

We have an awesome contest for businesses in Regina! Build your own Scarecrow!  We will supply you with a straw bale and a scarecrow frame.

You build the scarecrow with whatever you would like. Old clothes, branded clothes, 3d printed stormtrooper outfits. It’s pretty open ended. The only requirement is that it has to have straw and use the baseframe that we have included.

The completed scarecrow should be returned on or by October 1st where it will be displayed at the market and subjected to votes by the general public. The winner will be proclaimed at our Harvest Carnival on October 22nd-23rd and get their name on a fancy scarecrow trophy. They will also get bragging rights to forever hold over their fellow competitors.  The market will silent auction off the scarecrows in October to help fund our not-for-profit organization.

What you get:

  • A fun team building exercise.
  • Advertising at the market as well as on our social media.
    • During this time period we have several events happening with outside partners such as an adult spelling bee and the Saskatchewan Podcast Conference where the scarecrows will be displayed with your logos during.
  • Help a not-for-profit organization that helps small businesses in the area!
